I started using a suede-like strap and it holds it in place just fine. I can't imagine an SG with a lighter neck than this but I could be wrong Here are some photos http: GuitarArtMar 5, JimmyB japanese bbw porn, Mar 5, I have a SG Standard and it is pretty well balanced. With a super cheap strap if it starts horizontal the neck will start to move a little but it is very little. It is pretty well balanced but it comes in at about 8lbs so it is on the heavier side for an SG.
CatatonickMar 5, My 97 SG Deluxe is near perfect imo.

Maestro doesn't work well and that's it's only issue. Better than an LP on every criteria imo. Last edited: WaxheadMar 5, LoobsterMar 5, Two SG Standards here with no neck dive issues. I have never owned cati minx 61 reissue, but I have played them in the store. As mentioned before, their 57 classic pickups sound a good bit better than the series pickups in the standards and the 61's have a thinner neck. I also concur that you probably don't want to mess with SGs cheaper than a Standard, with the exception of the Classic with the P90s.
Used SGs run for so in the grand scheme of things, they're pretty cheap to begin with. You must log in or sign up to reply here. Show Ignored Content. Share This Page Tweet. Your name or email address: Do you already have an account? No, create an account now.

Add to Wish List. This sleek double-cutaway rocker had a slim, light body but no shortage of power and sustain, and the kind of fast playability that the guitar world had not previously experienced.
Originally introduced as a replacement for the single-cutaway Les Paul, the SG held firm even after the LP's return in the late '60s, and has retained its iconic status with rock and blues players ever since, while displaying its versatility by making inroads into virtually all other types of amplified music.
To pay homage to the original image of the SG Standard, Gibson introduces the SG '61 Reissue Satin, a guitar that packs all the most desirable features of vintage SGs, with a great "satin" finish that gives it the look and feel of a well-aged classic, in your pornosex movie of Worn Cherry, Worn Brown or Satin Ebony, all in hand-sprayed nitrocellulose lacquer. Add Review. Product Experience I own it. I have this one, it plays great, a real great gigger, super fast neck.
